Composition :
Each 5 ml (teaspoonful) contains 100 mg Guaiphenesin
Preservative :
Sodium Benzoate 0.1% w/v
Indication :
As an expectorant for the symptomatic relief of cough due to colds.
Dosage and Administration :
Adult and adolescents : 200 - 400 mg (2-4 teaspoonful),
Children 2-6 years : 50-100 mg (1/2 - 1 teaspoonful),
6-12 years : 100-200 mg (1-2 teaspoonful),
To be taken every 4 hours if necessary, after meals where possible. If symptoms persist, please consult your doctor.
Side effects :
Less frequently occurs : Diarrhoea, nausea & vomitting and stomach pain.
Contraindication :
Hypersensitivity to Guaiphenesin.
Storage :
Store at room temperature. Keep this and all medicines out of reach of children.
Shelf Life :
5 years from the manufacturing date.
